Welcome to Chesdin Animal Hospital

Chesdin Animal Hospital was established in 1984 by Dr. Richard A. Grenoble and his wife, Sharon. The practice had its beginnings in a wing of a farmhouse that was converted into a small but efficient animal hospital. As the practice grew, it became obvious that the time was right to build a facility to accommodate our growing staff and allow more space to do what we love best, help sick and injured animals, as well as to keep them healthy and happy. We moved to our present location in the spring of 1992.

Chesdin Animal Hospital is “full service”, and offers medical and surgical expertise, disease prevention, dental procedures, and many other services including grooming and boarding.

We are very proud of our staff, who are all dedicated animal lovers. They demonstrate their compassion and skills for our patients every day and strive to make our pet owners comfortable and informed about their pet’s treatment and progress.

Chesdin Animal Hospital is not only a family run business that has been around since 1984, the next generation has joined the practice. Recently we have had the pleasure to bring on Dr. Richard D. Grenoble as a full time veterinarian and his wife, Amy as Assistant Office Manager.

The City’s Best Awards judging panel has honored Chesdin Animal Hospital with the 2024 City’s Best Award, recognizing their outstanding service and customer satisfaction over the past year. This is the second time the hospital has won, having previously received the award in 2022.
