Our doctors and staff try to ensure that your animals passing is an easy and pain free event. We offer a variety of choices to ease the transition. You also have the option for cremation. We use Agape Pet Services. They offer two types of cremation: mass and private. Mass cremation is when your pet will be cremated with other pets and you receive no remains back. Dentistry

Dental care is an important part of your pet’s overall health. Just like humans, animals can suffer from gum disease, tooth decay, and other problems if their teeth are not properly cared for. A regular dental routine at home is a good start, but it’s also important to schedule professional cleanings with your veterinarian. During a professional cleaning, your vet will remove plaque and tartar build-up, as well as any other debris that may be lodged in your pet’s teeth. They will also check for any signs of periodontal disease or tooth decay. Veterinary care can help to prevent serious dental problems down the road and keep your pet’s mouth healthy and clean. When it comes to dental care, prevention is always the best medicine.

Fortunately, there are a number of products available that can help to prevent these problems. Flea and tick collars are an effective way to repel these pests, and they can also be used in conjunction with oral medications or injections. Heartworm prevention is essential for dogs, as these parasites can be deadly. By taking steps to prevent these diseases, you can help keep your pet healthy and safe.

Wellness and Vaccination Programs

Wellness and vaccination programs are essential for ensuring the long-term health of our pets. Routine wellness screenings help to identify potential health problems early on, before they have a chance to develop into more serious conditions. Vaccinations provide protection against diseases that can be deadly for animals.By working together, we can ensure a bright future for all of our furry friends.

Microchipping

Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. Our hospital uses the Home Again Microchip System for pet identification. The chip is the size of a grain of rice and is inserted underneath the skin. The I.D. number and owner information is then registered in the Home Again Registry. If a pet is lost and recovered, the chip can be read by any agency or veterinarian who has a microchip scanner and the owner can then be traced.
